The Dalton Dolphins broke three records at the Georgia Recreation
and Parks Association District 5 Swimming Championships at
Douglasville. The Dolphins send 37 swimmers to the state meet
on July 30-31 in Carrollton. Winning first place was:

Stephen Jones: 50 yd freestyle and 50 yd backstroke (both set new
meet records)

Chas Jones: 50 yd backstroke (new meet record) and 100
freestyle

Reese Bingham: 50 yd freestyle and 100 yd individual medley

Oscar Chenard: 25 yd breaststroke and 25 yd butterfly

Mark Naguib: 100 yd freestyle

Emilio Valdez: 25 yd freestyle

Miranda Storey: 50 yd backstroke

Alex Mashburn: 25 yd backstroke
